Pupils and staff have filled the capsule with pictures and other memorabilia, including information on the school's 25th anniversary and an enterprise project on the 200th anniversary of the Bell Rock Lighthouse.

BAM Construction donated the capsule after building educational links with the school at the construction stage.

The new supermarket at the Westway Retail Park has been taking shape, with much of the steelwork in place and the roof on. Work is on schedule for the store to open in November.
