Their commitment was recognised by a visit to its showroom by Mazda executives, who handed over a plaque to mark the pearl anniversary.
The presentation was made by Mazda UK managing director Jeremy Thomson, who said, "The team here is fantastic and over the years has consistently proved themselves to customers in Dundee with a high level of service."
Barnetts Mazda opened its Seagate showroom in Dundee in 1980.
It has since moved twice and is currently in state-of-the-art premises on Riverside Drive.
Dealer principal Jim Brown said he looked forward to many more years as a Mazda dealer.
He said, "I am delighted to receive this award on behalf of the dealership.
"During the 30 years we've operated as a Mazda franchise we have seen the marque go from strength to strength, transforming itself into one of the UK's most innovative and successful car brands."
The longest-serving Barnetts employee is sales executive Brian Beattie, who has seen many Mazda cars come and go during his time.
Mr Beattie said, "I've seen the introduction of many great Mazda models, including the RX-7, which had the revolutionary Rotary engine, that later became the RX-8-and of course the MX-5 convertible in 1990, that really helped put Barnetts Mazda on the map.
"It has been a privilege to be part of such a vibrant brand and see it grow considerably over the years."
