Warm welcome for Viking invaders
A colourful band of Viking invaders have been spotted in Perth and Kinross this week.

Among those to spot a flock of waxwings — and capture them on camera — was Alex Don of Highfield Road, Scone.
''I didn't know what they were so I went on the internet,'' said Mr Don. ''I thought they looked like starlings but they have a distinctive yellow tip to their tails.''
A keen photographer rather than ornithologist, Mr Don said the flock was in his garden for around 10 minutes before disappearing.
Waxwings are slightly smaller than starlings and are most easily identified by the buff-red crests on the top of their heads.
They are visitors from Scandinavia, and experts think there are around 2,500 birds in the UK, with large flocks in Perth and Kinross and on Lewis.
