Tom Courts jnr, of Tom Courts Quality Foods, won the trophy at an event hosted by the Scottish Federation of Meat Traders and held at the Dewars Centre in Perth at the weekend.
Mr Courts expressed his delight at winning the championship against competition from over 100 entries.
"We're pleased to have won this, as we didn't win the last time it was held," he said. "The competition includes entries from butchers from all over Scotland.
"We received a trophy and certificate, which we are proudly displaying in our shop."
He continued, "It is good to be recognised as there were entries from a number of quality butchers."
Tom Courts Quality Foods is at the Raith Centre in Cowdenbeath. The business became the first butcher in Scotland to achieve the Food Standards Agency's Eat Safe Award in October last year.
