The Scottish Social Services Council's conduct panel in Dundee reached their decision against Fiona Chisholm on Thursday after two days of a private hearing that was scheduled to last three days.
The residential child care worker in Dunfermline was accused of six breaches of the code of practice for social service workers.
Three of the alleged breaches related to part two of the code, which stipulates social service workers must strive to establish and maintain the trust and confidence of service users and carers.
In particular, she was accused of not informing her employer or the appropriate authority about personal difficulties that might affect her ability to do her job competently and safely.
She had been placed under interim suspension from December 3 last year to June 2.
