There was considerable controversy last year when residents expressed concern archaeological damage might have been done when earth moving equipment appeared on the land, which is part of Falkland Estate and close to the village's palace.
Chairman and manager Alex Simpson said a Cupar company is now on site to finish the ground works that had been delayed due a lengthy planning process and the need for an archaeological dig paid for by the club.
He said the final section of the ground will be dug out, drains will be laid, top soil will be put down and the mounds of earth causing the problems removed.
Mr Simpson said it is hoped the pitch will be completed by October, and that the archaeological dig, which did not find anything of significance, had been a costly exercise.
Now, he said the club is hoping to raise money with the help of the community through its Turf Aid appeal, which will allow supporters to buy a small square of the pitch.
He said that one of the big fund-raising events will be a match against Scottish Cup winners Dundee United, and on the same weekend there will also be a charity match against a Dundee United All Stars side.
He also said Falkland resident Graham Reekie had just returned from Nairobi, where he presented a set of football strips, training bibs and balls to Dagoretti House — a home and rehabilitation centre for more then 200 orphaned, destitute or abandoned children.
The club also donated running vests to girls in Thomas Barnardo House in Nairobi.
