The officers from Tayside Police's western division took part in Operation Scorpion, an intelligence-led investigation.
Their inquiries resulted in Nazim Ali (28), of Perth, and Cameron Mathieson (25) and Paul Feeney (22), both of Glasgow, being sent to prison for their part in an armed robbery in Perth.
The police team will receive the Making Justice Work award at the Scottish Policing Awards at the Scottish Police College in Tulliallan on November 28.
All three robbers were found guilty of using a firearm to rob a 38-year-old woman and a child in a Logie Crescent flat on November 15.
Mathieson was sent to prison for 13 years, Ali was jailed for seven and Feeney received a five-year sentence.
The two Glasgow men had driven to Perth, acting on information from Ali, and threatened the occupants of the flat with a sawn-off shotgun and demanded cash.
