Scottish Water issues assurance after Castlehill reservoir campsite complaint
Concerns have been raised after travellers set up camp beside a reservoir.

A Glen Devon man contacted The Courier after spotting caravans parked in a layby off the A823, a stone's throw from the public water supply at Castlehill.
The same piece of land, owned by Perth and Kinross Council, was occupied by travelling people for nearly five months between November last year and March this year.
The local resident, who asked not to be named, said: ''I have nothing against the travelling community but you cannot just pitch up at a popular beauty spot and think that's OK.
''It took almost five months to move them on last time and we are worried the same will happen this winter.''
Local councillor Ann Gaunt said: ''I will be doing all I can to ensure the travellers are moved on quickly and also to work out how best to prevent this happening again.''
She said there is an official travellers' site in Clackmannanshire.
Responding to claims the water might be contaminated by waste from the unofficial campsite, a spokesman for Scottish Water said: ''Castlehill is an overspill reservoir from which a small percentage of raw water is currently abstracted.
''The raw water from our reservoirs is fully treated to the requirements of our regulator before entering into supply. Our water treatment works are monitored around the clock.''
