Dundee hosts Discovery Games competitors
Dundee hosted more than 250 athletes from across Scotland at the weekend as the annual Discovery Games reached their conclusion.

The pan-disability event was held at venues across the city throughout the week and included activities such as carpet bowls, boccia, swimming and table tennis.
The chairman of Leisure and Culture Dundee, Councillor Bob Duncan, praised the games and the people behind it.
''There are many volunteers who we would like to thank, Soroptomists International Dundee, sports co-ordinators and all family and friends of the athletes, who support our event every year,'' he said.
Now in their 14th year the Discovery Games are organised by Dundee City Disability Sport in partnership with the sports development section of Leisure & Culture Dundee.
Eileen Ramsay, chairwoman of Dundee City Disability Sport, said: ''Discovery Games is a great opportunity for athletes with a disability to come to Dundee and take part in a quality in a quality event.''
Gold, silver and bronze were awarded, with The Soroptomists International Quaich also awarded for best team spirit.
