Heineken Cup officials have confirmed that the Gunners will take on French giants Toulouse on Easter Saturday. And bosses and players of the capital outfit are banking on the 3pm prime-time kick-off to lure the highest ever crowd for a tournament quarter-final on April 7.

The current best is 55,000, so there is plenty of scope to overhaul that tally in the stadium which can hold another 12,000.

Edinburgh chief executive Craig Docherty has pegged ticket prices at £15 for adults and £5 for school kids and students. He will also soon reveal details of a special deal for season ticket holders to thank them for their support during the campaign.

Docherty said: ''The eyes of European rugby will be on Murrayfield for the biggest club match to take place on Scottish soil. This is where we want to be — putting ourselves in a position to perform on on the world's biggest club rugby competition.''

Scrum-half Mike Blair, one of five players who featured in the 2004 quarter-final against the same opponents in France, called on fans from every sport to rally to the call.

The 75-times capped internationalist declared: ''It's a very exciting time for everyone involved in the club. The role of the crowd in home advantage can't be overstated and we have a fantastic opportunity to get a massive turnout and really make statement about rugby in Scotland this country.''
