Dundee takes part in Alzheimer Scotland Memory Walk

Scores of people gathered in Dundee to walk to raise money for dementia sufferers.
Dozens of Dundonians took part in the national Memory Walk in Baxter Park on Sunday.
Around 88,000 people across the country took part on the 5km walk, including members of the Alzheimer Scotland Total Recall Choir, who sung at the finish line in the Dementia Resource Centre.
Gabrielle Colston, Alzheimer Scotland’s acting regional manager, said: “Having people support our Memory Walk in Dundee will help us continue our work supporting local people with the range of services offered by Alzheimer Scotland.
“We know that receiving a diagnosis of dementia can be a frightening and isolating experience, but we also know that when people both the person with the diagnosis and their loved ones have the information and support they need at the right time, they can then have the resources and resilience to live well with dementia.”
