Former Playboy model and wrestling star Chyna was a huge hit when she jetted in to Scotland in August.

Hundreds of fans queued for autographs and pictures with the statuesque star before more than 1,300 watched her take to the ring at the Caird Hall.

Now she’s grappling with a new challenge, after her agent claimed she’d not been paid for her visit to Dundee.

They’ve now threatened legal action over the issue a move that has left the organisers of Hell for Lycra XII bemused.

David Low AKA wrestler Bravehart and boss of the home-grown SWE said the star had received a fee in traditional fashion, by signing autographs.

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star Chyna was special guest at August’s near sell-out grapple-fest.

Described in advertising for the event as “The ninth wonder of the world”, she retains a world-wide following for her wrestling and adult work.

She spent a busy day signing autographs in Perth and Dundee signing autographs before appearing at the Caird Hall event.

An agent who accompanied the star to Scotland has, however, claimed that she was not paid for her hard work inside and outside the ropes.

In correspondence seen by The Courier, the agent said: “Chyna did a show in Scotland at the end of August. We have not been paid yet.

“Unless, I hear from David Low as to when he is going to pay, we will need to file a lawsuit.”

The request for cash surprised Mr Low, who said: “I’ve just opened the email and I just don’t understand.

“When we book wrestlers they either ask for a few or work towards that fee with autograph sessions.

“It’s how it works every year.

“Chyna was hugely popular and she smashed her fee at the sessions.”

Mr Low said he believed the matter was likely to prove a misunderstanding and is adamant that the wrestling team have no questions to answer.

He added: “I would hope that this doesn’t cause any problems in the future.

“We’ll be back at the Caird Hall on August 27 and we’re already working to secure the stars that will join the SWE team.”

Chyna is currently being touted for a place in the WWE Hall of Fame by fans including Lorenzo Lamas, star of 1990’s crime hit Renegade.
