Police have launched an investigation after a gang of 30 youths launched a terrifying attack on a bus in Dundee.
About seven windows, as well as the door, were broken after the teenagers threw stones at the vehicle at a busy leisure park.
A horrified onlooker described how the “shaken” driver had no choice but to get out and stand by the bus as he waited for police to arrive.
The incident described as “very serious” by the operator happened at Dayton Drive on Saturday night after the 9A had stopped.
National Express, the company which runs the 9A service, said it is now getting the vehicle fixed.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Officers are making inquiries into vandalism to a bus that happened in Dayton Drive at about 11.55pm on Saturday evening.
“Police are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time, or anyone who has information that could assist with inquiries, to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
