The View delight fans at homecoming gig in Caird Hall

Dundee rockers The View made a triumphant return to Dundee’s Caird Hall.

The four piece, led by vocalist Kyle Falconer, gave hundreds of avid fans an early Christmas present by playing a homecoming gig designed to raise money for local children on Thursday night.

The city favourites delighted their crowd with performances of their debut classics as well as an array of hits from latest album Ropewalk.

Their latest album has been widely praised and has added instant hits like Under the Rug to an already impressive list of tracks.

The concert saw the band show their support for a campaign that will help more than 500 Dundee children this Christmas.

Fans on the guest list were asked for a donation while the band raffled off a signed ukulele.
