Police launched an urgent appeal on Thursday evening following the disappearance of Gavin Kemlo. The 19-year-old had not been seen since around lunchtime on Tuesday, when he had been spotted on the outskirts of the town. Police believed that he may have been in the Glenrothes area and appealed to the public for assistance in tracing Mr Kemlo. Following that appeal, it was confirmed yesterday morning that the teenager had been found safe and well. Police have since thanked those members of the public who contributed to the search.
