Police have appealed for witnesses following a collision that left a motorcyclist requiring hospital treatment.
The incident occurred at 6.40am on Tuesday on the A911 Glenrothes to Windygates road, near the Preston roundabout.
A motorcyclist and a white Ford Fiesta were involved, with the 24-year-old motorcyclist injured as a result.
Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them on 101 immediately.
Sergeant Andy Mather said: “The A911 is a commuter route and would have been busy with early morning traffic at the time of the collision. Anyone who may have seen either the motorcycle or the Ford Fiesta on this road are urged to contact Police and provide any details they may have.”
