Rewind Festival revellers have packed up their fancy dress and neon accessories for another year.

The clear-up of the Scone Palace site began in earnest on Monday as bleary-eyed stragglers made their way home.

Many will be hoping to fast-forward to 2015, however, after organisers confirmed the event will be returning to Scone Palace for a fifth year.

Festival director and head of Impresario Festivals David Heartfield told The Courier he was keen to come back to Perthshire.

“We will be returning again next year,” he said. “It was a great weekend despite having our fair share of Scottish weather.Photo gallery:Rewind Festival Friday campers get into the 80s groove Photo gallery:Saturday at the Rewind Festival (part 1) Photo gallery: Saturday at the Rewind Festival (part 2) Photo gallery: Saturday at the Rewind Festival (part 3) Photo gallery: Sunday at the Rewind Festival (part 1) Photo gallery: Sunday at the Rewind Festival (part 2) Photo gallery: Sunday at the Rewind Festival (part 3)“Everyone had a great time and it was like one big party, with people decorating their cars and dressing up.

“At lunchtime today there were still people in their tents, so clearly no one wanted to leave.”

Details of the 2015 events are still under wraps and planning will get under way in September, but Mr Heartfield revealed there is already interest from top acts.

He added: “A couple of artists came along to watch from backstage and have a look at the festival, so we will be having a chat with them soon.”
