The world’s fastest man Usain Bolt has denied making derogatory remarks about the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
The Times reported that the Jamaican sprinter said that the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow was “a bit s***”.
The runner, who will compete in the four x 400m relay this weekend, allegedly said the remarks as he left the athletes village in Dalmarnock on Tuesday.
Usain, who expressed his delight at meeting the Earl and Countess of Strathearn, and Prince Harry on his official Facebook page, revealed he thought that “the Olympics were better” as he made the remark.Post by Usain Bolt.The 100m Olympic champion arrived in the city on Saturday after missing the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony at Celtic Park last Wednesday.
But Bolt responded on his Twitter feed: “‘I’m waking up to this nonsense..journalist please don’t create lies to make headlines.”
