Coming up in Thursday’s Courier Bigfoot spotted in Angus

Coming up in Thursday’s Courier Bigfoot spotted in Angus

Is Bigfoot really roaming around Tayside?

The answer quite obviously is yes. Yes, of course he is.

I appreciate others may be somewhat more cynical but for those of us currently cowering in Coming Up Corner, there is little doubt the hairy beast is indeed on the loose.

In Thursday’s Courier we speak to the lady quite convinced she saw the seven foot monster (complete with no neck and broad shoulders) on a path in Carmyllie.

The creature had a “humanoid” shape.

But let us be clear, it definitely wasn’t as some have suggested one of her neighbours.

The lady is hoping the good people of Angus will help to prove she is not mistaken.

So, if you have seen Bigfoot in the Carmyllie area (or anywhere else come to think of it) please do let us know.

Away from mythical (or perhaps not) beasts, we have details of radical plans to cut congestion by turning off all the town centre traffic lights.

Will the proposal ultimately get the green light?

Find out more in Thursday’s Courier.

We also have the fullest of full details on controversy surrounding the spiralling costs of Dundee’s V&A.

We look back at some of the comments made back in the day. All about budgets being fixed, lines in the sand and etc and so on.

Some of them look somewhat dubious in the cold light of hindsight (or something like that).

We also have bags (not literally) of politics, a veritable shed-load (not literally) of sport and tons (not literally) of other goodies.

For more on all of this great, great fare, please do be sure to pick up Thursday’s Courier. Failing that, why not try our digital edition?
