Coming up in Wednesday’s Courier Quite simply, a lovelorn moose

Never mind all this independence referendum business, we have news of a lovelorn moose on the loose.

You read that right. A moose. On the loose. And looking for love.

Sensational stuff as the massive beast was spotted in Perthshire. Can you imagine the terror of being faced by such an animal when out and about? Specially one that is hellbent on finding love.

I’m imagining it right now.

ARRRGGGHHH.

Once you have composed yourself, I am pretty confident you will want to know:

(a) where the moose was from; and

(b) what on earth it was doing wandering about in the Tayside countryside.

Happily they are both questions we are absolutely delighted to answer in Wednesday’s frankly no less than rip-roaring edition. Moose-tery solved, if you will (and if you won’t, I will).

The Ryder Cup is coming to Scotland. In just a week’s time the fairways of Gleneagles will be alive with the sound of brash Americans bellowing “GET IN THE HOLE” at inappropriate moments.

We (The Courier) will be all over the event. And the build-up too for that matter. In Wednesday’s Courier you can gaze longingly (should you be so minded) at some quite wonderful aerial pictures of the site. Lots of work has been taking place and it looks absolutely top notch.

Do you too like U2?

Lots of people do BUT lots of other people don’t. So when Apple sent out the new album by Bono and his chums to all Apple users lots of them were delighted. But lots weren’t.

It put Apple in something of a pickle (pickled apple), details of which you will find in your midweek Courier.

Personally I had almost forgotten it’s not really been on the agenda so far but apparently there is indeed to be an independence referendum in Scotland on Thursday. Who knew?

Anyway, there is and we have all the very latest. And my golly gosh there isn’t half plenty of latest, including Miliband being taunted on a trip to Edinburgh. Tsk tsk.

Don’t mean to lay it on to thick, but it really is great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great stuff in Wednesday’s Courier. Really great, in fact. Please do be sure to pick up Wednesday’s Courier. Failing that, why not try our digital edition? It’s great.
