This nostalgic photograph was submitted by Korean War veteran Robert Batchelor, from Newburgh. Mr Batchelor was a piper with the 1st Battalion The Black Watch, who are pictured entertaining US Marines in Korea in 1952. The men were photographed two weeks before the Battle of the Hook. Mr Batchelor said that Government proposals to trim the Scottish Division are “unbelievable and unacceptable.”
