DUNDEE COLLEGE Higher National Certificate acting and performance students are set to stage a highly original performance, Dreams, this weekend.

From sweet dreams to nightmares the students’ work examines all aspects of sleeping phenomena as they explore the reality and the unconscious.

A total of 19 students will be taking part in this one-hour production which is born out of the devised theatre unit of their course.

Lecturer, Eve Jamieson, who is directing the performance, said, “After various brainstorming sessions the students themselves decided to explore the theme of dreams and reality.

“They also researched the psychology of dreams, looking at the various types of dreaming—lucid dreaming, hallucination, precognitive dreaming and nightmares.”

Dreams takes place in The Space today and tomorrow at 7.30 pm.

Tickets are available from The Space box office on Dundee 834934.
