Keen to hear about sightings of big cats

A RESEARCHER with the British Big Cats Research Group is keen to hear about sightings of the cats.

Kay Gordon is researching sightings all over the UK. People making contact do not have to be named in research but the researchers may get in touch to discuss sightings further.

Researchers say the information will help determine whether or not these elusive animals exist.

Anyone with information is asked to Email Kay at gkrgordon@gmail.com

Since the mid-1990s there have been at least 60 alleged big cat sightings in North East Fife and more than 30 in Angus.

Sightings have been reported in the Rathillet, Cupar, Newburgh, Crail and St Andrews areas.

Similar reports have come from across the UK with the British Big Cat Society suggesting there could be up to 70 big cats prowling the countryside.
