A HOST of celebrities descended on Strathearn to enjoy the spring sunshine and a relaxing charity game of golf yesterday. Kriss Akabusi, Scott and Gavin Hastings, Ian Durrant and Fred MacAulay were among the well-known faces at Auchterarder Golf Club for the charity match. Invited by Perthshire Rugby Club, they were raising funds for CHAS and the Perthshire Community Rugby charity. The day was rounded off with a sportsman’s dinner at the club with main speaker being Scotland rugby star Andy Nicol. |
