Eco time at Strathkinness

Experiencing a fly’s view: Mackenzie Watson, Molly Clark and Graeme Pearson.

PUPILS AT Strathkinness Primary School got the chance to show off their hard work to people from the village yesterday.

The youngsters hosted an eco-afternoon to give everyone a chance to see the fruits of their hard work over the past year.

The pupils at the school, which achieved green flag status a year ago, also got the chance to take part in some fun activities.

The children also produced eco-art and enjoyed an eco-walk.

A countryside ranger gave a talk and green fingered pupils also had a go at flower arranging.

Their displays will now be put on show in the church in time for the end of term service.

Shelia Goodwin, eco-co-ordinator said, “We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The weather was glorious and young and old alike turned out to enjoy the day. It was lovely.”
