ONE OF Scotland’s most famous authors took time out to sign books during a visit to Perth yesterday.

Ian Rankin greeted fans and signed copies of both The Flood and Rebus’s Scotland at Waterstone’s.

The Flood is Rankin’s first ever novel, recently republished with a brand new introduction. It has been unavailable for nearly two decades.

Rebus’s Scotland, meanwhile, highlights the places that inspired the settings for the Inspector Rebus novels.
