PERTHSHIRE Abandoned Dogs Society held a fund-raising coffee morning in Robert Douglas Memorial Hall, Scone, on Saturday.

Visitors were able to enjoy not only a cuppa and some fine home baking but also the foot-tapping music of accordionist Micky Ainsworth, a keen dog lover and PADS supporter.

Funds raised by the event will help PADS rescue, care for and re-home the county’s stray and abandoned dogs.

The kennels run by PADS at Forteviot are open every day from 1-3.30 pm.
