Pupils prepare for the spring

Council parks development officer Alastair Barnard with P4 pupils Milly Morrison, Rachael Burgess, Emma Philp,

Megan Pass and Mhorgan Grieve.

NEWBURGH CHILDREN helped plant 2500 bulbs to ensure their village is blooming in spring.

Primary 4 pupils planted the daffodils and crocuses in just over an hour at the waterfront.

They were helped in their efforts to help improve the waterfront by employees of Fife Council, who did the digging.

Maureen Burgess, of the Newburgh Regeneration Group, which has breathed life in the former factory site, said, “The children did really well, they worked really hard.”
