| Saints delay decision on move for Polish trialists | |||
|
THE TWO Polish trialists who spent last week with St Johnstone have returned to their club Legia Warsaw. Dariusz Zjawinski and Marcin Smolinski, a striker and midfielder, played in a closed-doors game and Perth boss Owen Coyle may try to get them back to Perth for a second look at a later date. He explained, “They flew home yesterday. We weren’t going to be able to make a decision on the basis of one closed-doors game because we have to be convinced they are better than what we already have here. “Hopefully we might be able to get them back over in a few weeks’ time.” Meanwhile, Mark Campbell returned to training yesterday and Coyle is looking to arrange a bounce game for the likes of Kieran McAnespie and Kevin Fotheringham to continue their recovery from injury. |
