A FAMED Perthshire musician will perform a unique concert featuring 14 musicians today.

Dougie MacLean will present his Rural Image show at Perth Concert Hall and the respected folk artist will be joined on stage by musicians including Ross Ainslie, Anna Wendy Stevenson, Gina McLeod and Ewan Sutherland.

Also there will be six vocalists and four dancers and a set complete with gigantic farmhouse and Fergie, his faithful tractor.

Rural Image—A Songvision Symphony incorporates original music, song, dance and digital imaging, with set and lighting design.

It explores Dougie’s passion for Perthshire and features eight new songs.

The Perth concert is ahead of a performance at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall for the Celtic Connections festival.
