ROADWORKS IN a Perth housing estate are causing disruption.

The major drainage works—made more difficult by speed humps at the Ainslie Gardens/Balhousie Street junction—are expected to last four weeks.

Muirton councillor Gordon Hunter has made a plea for patience during the works, but warned residents and motorists there can be “no gain without pain.”

“The works are scheduled to take a maximum of four weeks and have been made more difficult due to the presence of speed humps at the junction,” he said.

Closures put in place during the works have resulted in the re-routing of buses.

Local residents’ parking has also been affected.
