RESURFACING WORKS and the replacement of gas mains are causing road closures and delays in Perth.

Drivers were warned of disruption as northbound traffic was excluded from both St Andrew Street and Caledonian Road.

Properties between Caledonian Road and Leonard Street will take access via the Leonard Street junction.

And ongoing mains replacement work being undertaken by Scottish Gas Networks has required the temporary introduction of a traffic management system at Atholl Street.

This involves lane closures on Barrack Street, Melville Street and North Methven Street as well as Atholl Street.

With the work expected to take four weeks, drivers are being warned to expect delays, especially at peak times.
