DUNDEE HIGH School singer Shakira Roberts (pictured) has had a string of successes in competitions this year.

Shakira (15) won the Tayside Burns Competition in March. Later that month she won the All Winners’ Competition, which involves the best of Tayside schools’ poetry readers, singers and instrumentalists. She recently represented Tayside at the national Burns competition in Dumfries, and came first in the third and fourth year division.
