A FORFAR fun day lived up to its name in Saturday’s sunshine.

Youngsters flocked to The Myre park for the event organised by the 3rd (Forfar) St Margaret’s Scout group and pitted their skills against each other in an It’s A Knockout- style assault course challenge.

Forfar Fire and Rescue personnel lent a hand during the afternoon and thrilled the youngsters with a foam-filled finale to the event.

Results.

Six-eight years—1 Ladybirds (2nd Forfar Girls Brigade), 2 Cheetahs (6th Forfar Beavers), 3 3rd Forfar Beavers.

Eight-10years—1 Nutters (1st Dunnichen Letham Cubs), 2 Wildcats (6th Forfar Cubs), 3 Baloo (3rd Forfar Cubs).

10-15 years—1Flying Pigs (2nd Forfar Guides), 2 Mighty Monkeys (3rd Forfar Scouts), 3 Purple Pests (2nd Forfar Boys Brigade).
