PRIMARY SCHOOL pupils last night showed off their strumming skills as the guitar section of Dundee City Council’s Youth Music Initiative held an end-of-term concert for parents.

The youngsters have been attending tuition every week for the past year, and this event provided an opportunity to show what they have learned. The concert took place at Dundee College in Graham Street with 180 primary five, six and seven pupils making up the guitar section.

The Youth Music Initiative gives all primary school pupils the opportunity to learn guitar or participate in a choir and is supported by the Scottish Arts Council.
