INTENSE DOWNPOURS caused localised flooding in areas to the north of the Kingsway in Dundee yesterday evening. A police spokesperson said that the affected areas were mainly in the Kirkton and St Mary’s sections of the city. The spokesperson said that although there had been a lot of rain, ground water was expected to clear quickly and no lasting effects were anticipated. |
