THE DUNDEE branch of the Scotland football supporters’ club has raised £250 for a local pipe band. The Rampant Lions raised the money for the Fintry Pipe Band youth section through a variety of fund-raising events such as raffles and scratchcards. They presented the cheque to members of the band at Monikie Country Park yesterday. Chairman Eddie Hunt said, “There were around 70 members of the club in attendance at the barbecue. “We chose the Fintry Pipe Band to benefit from our fund-raising because they have done bits and pieces for us in the past, such as turning up to events.” Stacey Barrett and Eddie Hunt are pictured presenting Christine Hepburn of the Practical Pipers Society with the cheque.
