THE CREW of the Singing Kettle caused a stir when they turned up in Perth on a tractor. Cilla, Artie, Gary and Kevin arrived at Perth Theatre to prepare to put on their 2006 show Old MacDonald’s Farm. Organisers promise the performance will feature “some of the strangest animals you will ever see.” “We have had a great time on the tour so far,” Cilla said. “It is a bit strange having to duet with a chicken at times but the kids love it.” As well as the animal stars on stage, the audience are being encouraged to dress as farm animals or farmers. “We have seen some amazing costumes in the audience—from pigs to donkeys with some burly farmers in tow,” Cilla said. *Pictured: Cilla, Artie, Gary and Kevin pull in to the theatre. |
