Young people were invited to delve into the unusual history of Angus at the weekend. The latest drop-in day at Angus Archives, based at Restenneth, near Forfar, featured a host of strange items, ranging from a book charting the life of Brechin’s working men as far back as the 16th century to a feu charter for the Kingsmuir stretching to almost 30 feet. Angus Archives staff also gave visiting children the chance to create their own seal as part of the event, the latest in a series of open days.
