Bike prankster’s bare-faced cheek

AN ARBROATH woman is incensed after a prankster was captured on a video phone sitting naked on her motorbike while it was parked in her front garden.

Sue Smith, who owns a guest house in Marketgate, was furious after her teenage son found, purely by chance, footage of the incident on the internet.

Sue is shortlisted for an award at the Big-Hearted Scot of the Year awards on September 8 in Glasgow.

Her recommendation came after she helped the family of a Czech worker who was murdered in Arbroath last year.

But she admitted she will be less charitable if she ever gets her hands on the prankster who posed nude on her prized motorbike.

Sue explained, “My 13-year-old son Aaron was on the internet website www.bebo.com last night when, much to his surprise and horror, he came across a video of what appears to be a local man sitting naked on my motorbike in my front garden.

“I couldn’t believe it when he told me.

“It sounded so far- fetched I thought it must be a wind-up.

“When I went to the website and saw the video for myself I was horrified.

“My baby daughter’s bedroom window is right by where I park the motorbike and she is only three years old.

“I just dread to think that she may have seen this man, or that my other younger son Danny, who is 10, might have looked out of his bedroom window at any time and saw him.”

The video has been posted by someone calling himself “local celeb” and Sue has reported the matter to the police.

“He will certainly get his wish to be a local celeb when this hits the newspaper,” added Sue.

“The chances of my son coming across a video of someone sitting on his own mother’s motorbike in his own front garden must be billions to one but I’m glad he did because hopefully the police will put a stop to it happening again.

“It wasn’t even dark when the clip was taken so I’m wondering when it actually happened.

“Did he arrive naked or did he undress in my garden?

“I still can hardly believe it because this is such a public area in a busy part of the town.”
