A member of the procurator fiscal staff in Dundee is under investigation by police, it was disclosed last night.

A spokesperson for the Crown Office and the fiscal service confirmed that a member of the staff at Greenmarket had been suspended, saying, “We are aware that there is an ongoing police investigation in relation to a member of staff in Dundee.

“It is not appropriate to speculate on what the outcome may be.

“In accordance with normal practice, the member of staff has been suspended.”
