CHRISTOPHER ANDERSON (21), of Craighall Place, Rattray, and David Brown (24), of Glenalmond Road, Rattray, appeared in private before Sheriff Brodie in Perth yesterday.

The pair both appeared on a petition alleging robbery and assault, while Brown also faced a charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

They made no plea or declaration and the case was continued for further examination. Both were remanded in custody.

The petition related to an alleged incident at the Co-op store on Coupar Angus Road, Blairgowrie, on November 9.
