CELEBRITIES Ewan McGregor, Nick Nairn and Colin and Justin have joined a fund-raising effort to help children in Rachel House live their lives to the full. They have all made contributions to a 10th anniversary recipe book, which will raise money for the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland. Tom Kitchin, the rising star among Scotland’s top chefs, has also contributed special dishes as have the Rachel House kitchen team. “Having grown up in Kinross, I have always been aware of the wonderful work of Rachel House, and I am thrilled to be supporting CHAS in Rachel House’s 10th anniversary year,” he said. The free standing and wipeable recipe book is available at £6 from the Rachel House shop in Kinross. All proceeds will go directly to supporting all the children and families who use Rachel House, thanks to sponsorship from Somerfield and Foresters. The CHAS Gift Shop is open from 10am until 5pm Monday to Saturday until December 22. |
