WARDS THREE and four at Cameron Hospital, Windygates, were presented with £1700 yesterday to help them to upgrade their outdoor patio.
The money was presented by Levenmouth Heartbeat Initiative who raised funds to buy lifesaving defibrillators for public areas such as shops. They decided to give the surplus to the hospital after Leven ambulance depot began a £3000 fund-raising drive to give patients an outdoor seating area.
Levenmouth Heartbeat treasurer, Lord Ewing, said, “We are delighted with the significant funds and are very grateful to the kind people of Levenmouth who donated the money.”
