A business leader who helped turn Harry Ramsden’s from a single restaurant in Yorkshire to a world-famous brand is to help Scottish companies along the path to success.
Richard Richardson will be giving practical advice at a seminar at Gleneagles Hotel on March 6.
The session is one of a series in a tourism leadership programme put together by Scottish Enterprise to help encourage growth in the industry.
Mr Richardson and his partner John Barnes have developed a business approach they describe as ‘marketing judo’, and Mr Richardson will be explaining its main points at the seminar aimed at business leaders and managers primarily, but not exclusively, in the tourist industry.
SE tourism director Eddie Brogan said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for small companies with limited budgets to learn how to develop their brands.”
