SIR MENZIES CAMPBELL celebrated two decades as the MP for North East Fife at a special dinner with colleagues from the Liberal Democrats.

The party leader was elected Commons representative for the constituency in 1987, winning the seat by 1447 votes.

His 20th anniversary was the focus of the 34th annual dinner of the North East Fife and Central Liberal Democrats, which was held in St Andrews Town Hall on Saturday evening.
