VISITORS TO Sensation science centre in Dundee at the weekend got the chance to combine science and Easter goodwill.
Visitors who handed in an Easter egg qualified for one free child admission with a fully paying adult.
The Easter eggs will be donated to the children’s ward at Ninewells Hospital.
Organisers hope that the free child offer has not only given more people the chance to participate in the various workshops and exhibits at the centre, but will also bring a little brightness to those who are not able to enjoy Easter themselves.
Sensation is currently displaying a new Solar System show, which has been hailed as a stellar success.
For the next two weeks, the centre also features a specially created forensics workshop where visitors can learn about some of the crime detection methods used by police, try fingerprinting techniques for themselves and take home a unique souvenir of their visit.
Sensation’s marketing manager Alan Martin said, “As this is only on during the first two weeks in April, we wanted to make sure as many people as possible get the opportunity to participate.”
