AN ANTIQUE mirror worth £5000 was been stolen from Blair Castle at the weekend.

The theft took place between 1pm on Saturday and 1.30am on Sunday.

A police spokesperson said yesterday that the mirror is from the mid-Georgian era, seven inches by nine, and valued at approximately £5000.

It has a concave plate and an ebonised frame.
