A MAN is being treated for serious injuries in Dundee’s Ninewells Hospital after being found unconscious in Perth in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Tayside Police have so far been unable to identify the man and are appealing for members of the public to help piece together what happened to him.

He was discovered unconscious at around 4.45am near the boating pond at Perth’s South Inch.

A police spokesperson has described him as being in his 30s, 5 feet 6 inches tall, of thin build, with shaven head, and wearing a dark woollen hat, navy blue bomber-style jacket, blue T-shirt with white piping round the neck, light blue jeans with brown belt and brown boots.

He also had a gold hoop earring in his left ear.
