Life-saving op secured for pup

A DUNDEE FAMILY’S heartfelt appeal for help to save their son’s ill puppy has reached its £1200 target thanks to an incredible response from generous well-wishers.

Donations to help pay for a life-saving operation on Charlie, a Lhasa Apso/Jack Russell cross with a hole in his heart, have flooded in after his owners pleaded for assistance.

The family made an urgent appeal for help to meet the £1200 cost of the operation—while also organising a series of fund-raising events and writing to dog-loving celebrities about their plight.

However, as soon as news of Charlie’s plight got out they were inundated with donations.

With the cost of Charlie’s treatment having been met in double-quick time, the plucky puppy will be heading for Broadleys Veterinary Hospital in Stirling next week.
